ABOUT ME
Hello I’m Kendall, an Australian Journalist, Television Presenter, MC, Speaker, Board Director and Ambassador.
I have a Bachelor of Journalism from the Queensland University of Technology, and kicked off my career with the Seven Network in my home town of Cairns in 2011.
I spent 12 years with Channel 7 as a reporter in Cairns and Gold Coast, before becoming the inaugural presenter of 7NEWS Queensland’s afternoon bulletin, a role I held for more than eight years. I’ve also been a guest newsreader on Sunrise and the 6pm bulletin, and worked on live coverage of sporting events like Davis Cup Tennis and Magic Millions.
My passions revolve around business, leadership, communication, news, and sport. I believe in the power of storytelling whether that’s in the board room, reporting from the sideline of an AFL game, or hosting a women’s leadership summit. People connecting with people is what sets my heart alight.
When I'm not working, my favourite way to unwind is by the beach. I love watching sport – test cricket and AFL are my favourite. I like all the good things in life - especially food and fashion. But if there was a choice - I'd always pick dinner over a dress.
Family is my number one priority and my greatest joy. I've been married to Timothy, a music teacher, for 11 years. We have two children - a daughter named Olive, and a son named Moses.
